The LinearBeam will provide smooth motion to guide the cart carrying dies weighing up to 50,000 pounds over the rails.
The cart will travel approximately 60 feet, and is driven by a gear motor traveling at a speed of about 10 feet per minute.
In addition to its most recent use, the LinearBeam has been used in the nuclear industry to transport nuclear waste approximately 100 feet.
For a recent theatre project, it glided a 200-Ton orchestra across a stage.
Additional applications include steel mill transfer, off-shore skid movement, high temperature units and furnace loading.
