Serapid designs robust rodless linear actuator

A Serapid product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jan 19, 2009

The Serapid Linearbeam mechanical linear actuator uses push-pull chain technology and is designed for use in demanding applications, where exposure to heat, contamination and debris are key factors.

Linearbeam functions as a rodless linear actuator, but the similarity between it and other rodless actuators ends there.

It is designed for heavy loads, long travel or harsh environments.

With a thrust force of up to 35,000lbf, and a full range of available options, it is guaranteed for over one million cycles at full load and continuous operation.
