Encapsulating three years of development work, each model is offered with a range of unique plug-and-play infeed modules, that can be changed to accommodate different products in a matter of minutes.
The high level of flexibility offered makes the Omni range suitable for a wide range of applications including ready-meal manufacturers, contract packers, cosmetic and toiletry producers, in fact almost any user needing quick product changeover.
At the core of the machine is servo motion-control technology, that instantly recognises when a new in-feeder has been attached.

Pallet de-stacking system reduces manual work
Pallet de-stacking system for the management of pallets has the aim of managing the storage and stacking of pallets, and removing manual work, such as dragging pallets here and there.
Also incorporated is a large display screen, which allows new operators to set-up the machine with the minimum of product knowledge.
Users are prompted for the height and width after which the machine calculates the spacing and type of packaging film required.
Additional user information can also be stored in the 100-program memory, including the location in the stores of suitable film and products.
Problems can also be traced via the interactive screen, which has a fault-finding facility and displays packaging errors on the screen.
The three-model range comprises the Omni F, a pneumatic machine capable of handling up to 80 packs per minute.
The Omni S, a high-speed mid-range machine capable of 100 packs per minute with an auto side change, and the Omni HS, a horizontal or side-seal machine capable of up to 180 packs per minute.
The infeeds are interchangeable across the range avoiding users having to invest in the same module three times.
All machines are supplied fully metric and CE marked for Europe.
Available in a left or right-hand version at the time of ordering, the infeed units are offered in a variable range of styles including single-belt, flighted and dual-belt making the machines suitable for almost any application.
Bradford based technical support manager, Paul Collins who has been supporting Shanklin machines for over 20 years, believes that demand for the new machines will be very high when they are formally launched in the UK later this month.
Collins says: "The Shanklin Omni range has been manufactured to exactingly high standards in keeping with the company's reputation as a world class packaging machine supplier".
"Its plug and play technology makes costly time consuming changeovers a thing of the past and will enable producers to significantly reduce down-time." Adds Collins.
Ideal for linking with other machines the Omni is supplied with a modem allowing remote diagnostics in the unlikely event of technical problems.
The new models replace the existing Shanklin F5 and HF2, which will be phased out later this year. Request a free brochure from Sealed Air ...
