Sealed Air commented that presentation is at the core of Packforum and is prominent in its shrink packaging unit, which specialises in packaging equipment and new films, such as the claimed very high resistance Cortuff shrink film.
At Packforum, shrink packaging technicians have innovation, new technology and new ideas at their finger tips and will develop, where necessary, a bespoke system for a customer's specific requirements, said Sealed Air.
Customers are encouraged to bring their products to see which machine and packaging film best suits their requirements without rushing in to a decision.
The company added that it believes that a key part of the facility is the opportunity to discuss and explore different avenues with other colleagues and SP technicians.
Regular visitors to the facilities include supermarket buyers from Europe and other international regions, along with European producers.
In addition to testing the packaging capabilities of the different packaging machines on display, visitors can also participate in regular workshops and seminars.
Many of those are aimed at specific market sectors, such as contract packaging, DIY, media and they are presented by seminar specialists from the different sections of the packaging industry.
