Wrapping machine can be changed in three minutes
Wrapping machine wrapper redefines traditional shrink packaging equipment having features like its plug-and-play in-feed modules, which can be changed over in as little as three minutes.
The Highest Achievement Award is granted to the Gold Award winner in the "packaging excellence" category that has contributed the most to the advancement of the industry.
Cryovac Simple Steps was recognized as the judges' top choice among 87 entries for the award.
Simple Steps was chosen for its unique combination of a self-venting technology system, vacuum-skin seal and easy-open tab.
"The Simple Steps heat-and-serve package was created with today's efficiency-conscious processor and on-the-go consumer in mind," said Jay Wilson, Cryovac's director of marketing for Smoked and Processed Meats.
"The package keeps entree items looking juicy and fresh, and gives consumers a package that is convenient and easy-to-use -- resulting in a hearty dinnertime selection that can be heated and served in three simple steps." Consumers need only 1) remove the tray from its outer packaging; 2) heat for the designated time (usually about four minutes) and let cool; and 3) pull the easy-open tab to remove the film and serve.
Simple Steps eliminates the need to puncture ventilation holes in the package before heating.
The heat-resistant side handles and an easy-open tab make product removal safe and simple.
Cryovac Simple Steps allows entrees, such as beef tips, pot roast, pork roast, pulled pork and chicken breasts, to be fully cooked, distributed and sold in the same package.
With a self-venting technology system, Simple Steps contains a vacuum-skin film which tents up in the microwave and then relaxes over the food product.
The cook-in technology is more efficient for processors and enables them to provide shoppers with entrees that have undergone minimal handling.
Additionally, Simple Steps provides enhanced merchandising appeal for in-store display.
Vacuum-skin packaging affords a clear view of contents, while a total seal on the package prevents product shifting and reduces leakers. Request free introductory details about products from Sealed Air ...
