FORTUNE Magazine Names Sealed Air Most Admired 'Packaging, Containers' Company in 2006

Sealed Air Corporation today announced it was recently named No 1 within the "Packaging, Containers" industry on the 24th annual list of America's Most Admired Companies by FORTUNE magazine

In addition to receiving the highest overall ranking, Sealed Air scored highest in the areas of Innovation, Employee Talent, Quality of Management, Long-term Investment and Quality of Products and Services.

Sealed Air is recognized globally for its powerful portfolio of brands including Bubble Wrap cushioning, Cryovac fresh food packaging, Jiffy protective mailers and Instapak foam-in-place packaging.

Most recently, the Company has introduced innovative new products to the marketplace including Cryovac Simple Steps packaging for "heat and serve" fresh meats and produce, the Cryovac saddle pack multi-pocket vacuum package for fresh chicken, the NewAir I.B.

200 inflatable packaging system for on-site, on-demand cushioning and Instapak Quick Room Temperature (RT) foam packaging.

In 2005, Sealed Air reported net sales of $4.1 billion.

Hay then surveyed executives, directors, and analysts, asking them to rate companies in their own industry according to eight criteria: Innovation; People Management; Financial Soundness; Quality of Management; Use of Corporate Assets; Social Responsibility; Long-term Investment; and Quality of Products and Services.
