Bill Armstrong of Sealed Air Corp will deliver an address

Bill Armstrong, Technical Development Manager from Sealed Air Corp.

located in Danbury, CT, will be the guest speaker at DistriPakUSA at 8:00 a.m., Friday, October 6th, before trade show hours.

Admission to Armstrong's speech is FREE with each DistriPakUSA or trade show badge.

DistriPakUSA is launching its first annual trade show on October 4-7, 2006 (Exhibit Days: October 5-7) in Chicago's McCormick Place (South hall) and is solely dedicated to the industrial and food packaging distribution channel.

The NPTA Alliance is the hosting association for DistriPakUSA, the industrial and food packaging trade show.

Armstrong's presentation will focus on packaging on incoming goods imported from global sources and performance based packaging, establishing requirements measuring effectiveness.

His presentation will allow attendees to fully explore and learn about packaging and the impact of global sources to it.

He brings to DistriPakUSA a wealth of experience in packaging, working for Sealed Air Corp.

since 1981, in many different capacities in Product Development, Special Projects, Marketing, Package Design and in his present position, as Technical Development Manager.

Mr.Armstrong has many varied professional accomplishments from industry organizations.

He is the immediate Past President of ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) and is a current member of their Board of Directors.

He is also a past National President for the Society of Packaging and Handling Engineers (SPHE) and a past Board Member of the Packaging Education Foundation.

Over the years, Armstrong has acquired quite an impressive amount of honors/awards.

Highlighting these include being named to the Packaging Education Forum's Packaging Hall of Fame in 2003, being an active member of the Michigan State University School of Packaging Alumni Hall of Fame, and in 1992 earning an Annual Achievement Award in Packaging from the National Institute of Packaging, Handling and Logistics Engineers' (NIPHLE).

He has also earned a B.S.

from Michigan State University School of Packaging in 1968.
