Designed for virtually any industry where items have to be weighed and then labelled, an economy weighing and labelling system is available in a wide-range of sizes and capacities.

Stevens Group has launched a new economy weighing and labelling system This new system is perfect for virtually any industry where items have to be weighed and then labelled

The system comprises of and industrial IP-65 rated indicator and a weighing platform attached directly to one of their ST-314S printers.

The platforms are available in a wide-range of sizes and capacities to suit each application requirements.

The ST-314S printer will print onto labels, plain or pre-printed, up to a length of 345mm and width of 110mm using direct thermal or thermal ribbon.

With up to 99 different label formats and, within those, 4000 different variations (PLU's) can be stored in the printers' memory, it is suitable for virtually any size of company.

It can print pre-set information onto labels and/or it can prompt on the front display for variable text to be entered on its keypad, such as meat batch number, which will then be printed on the label.

If further label designing will be required, then there is the option of using the low-cost, Windows based label design package which can be installed on any PC.

The ST-314S can also store Windows fonts for printing onto labels, for both standard, eg.

Arial, and non-standard fonts, eg.

Barmeno, unlike many other printers.

The easy-to-use system can be provided on a stainless steel workstation if required.

For wet environments the printer can be housed in a Stevens' 'garage' which allows hosing-down without the need to remove the equipment.

Savings are made immediately by the end-user by firstly taking into account the price of alternate systems available, and, with the throughput of production increasing, further savings are continually made - making it a must have for any business.
