The user simply looks up the label they wish to print on the easy to read two-line alphanumeric display and then uses the keypad to select it and the quantity of labels required.
The actual label design is done on the easy-to-use WinLw software.
The labels can show a variety of information, such a barcodes, use by dates (constantly corrected through an internal clock), logos, text and totals.
Once the label has been created, it is then sent to the flash memory of the printer.
The printer can also store both Windows standard fonts, such as Arial, and non-standard Windows fonts, such as Barmeno, in its memory for printing onto labels.
The printer is then detached and can be located anywhere for use - it does not have to be connected to any other unit to print labels.
The ST-314S printer can also prompt for information to be printed onto labels.
The user is prompted by a question, such as their initials for example, on the display and they then have to enter the answer to it by using the keypad.
This answer is then printed onto the label at the place it was designed to be shown.
With a maximum label size of 345mm in length and 110mm wide, a printing speed of 170mm per second and a resolution of over 200dpi, the ST-314S is the ultimate in printing versatility.
