Carton sealing systems have small 'footprint'
Three, top load, four flap carton sealing systems, which have a very small 'footprint' - without compromising on quality or efficiency - enhance flexibility and productivity of tea carton filling.
The machines were to be used in a damp, cold environment which required a well engineered stainless steel construction.
Sewtec, of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, had scoured the market for a suitable tray denester to complement the design of a Lasagne tray-filling line, being designed for a major customer.
Finding that there was no suitable product on the UK market that was suitable for the environment and the requirements of the proposed application, Sewtec decided to design and build its own.

Sewtec applications engineer Steve Levitt comments: "The demands of the Lasagne tray-filling application were such that we were compelled to develop a denester of our own design that could withstand the rigours of an aggressive environment".
"The subsequent design met all the requirements of the application and was such a success that we have developed it into a stand alone product in its own right that fills a niche position in the automated food processing marketplace."
