The interest in Myworkplan exceeded even our own high expectations, with many visitors taking advantage of our offer of a free 30 day trial of Myworkplan." The International Machine Tool Engineers Conference ran alongside JIMTOF.
At this event Mr Robert Endl, head of 5-axis RandD from Sescoi Germany and Mr Jeff Jaje, a 5-axis machining expert from Sescoi US spoke on the challenges presented by 5-axis machining technology for both CAM systems and users.
Sescoi also ran 5-axis workshops which included US customer case studies The combined audience for all three presentations exceeded 300, making them some of the most popular events at the show.
Sescoi also ran a number of individual seminars at its stand, covering a range of topics including 5-axis machining and Auto 5, automatic programming, 3+2 machining, and 2D functions.
Mr Kanji Hayashi of Sescoi Japan summarized : "The interest in Auto 5 and 5-axis programming reflects the growing number Japanese companies adopting this technology.
WorkNC's 5-axis capabilities demonstrated at JIMTOF will help ensure WorkNC maintains its number one position in the Japanese die and mouldmaking market.".
