Sight Systems is providing a leading digital signage specialist with a point-of-use/sale visual display system offering almost ten times the quality of PAL video systems.
A recent example was a 4U chassis produced for a customer involved in the manufacture of silicon wafers.
This client wanted a strong corporate image on a drop-down, lockable stainless steel door over the front panel.
The company's striking logo was boldly featured by laser-cutting the logo out of the door behind which were positioned coloured Perspex to give an attractive intaglio effect.
To optimise cooling by two front-panel mounted 160mm fans a 2mm stand-off was arranged behind the door and two rows of cooling slots were added.
The chassis was fabricated mostly from aluminium because the customer needs to move the system between manufacturing stages.
