Swiss university visits testing
organisation
On March 15th, 2007, 2 professors and 32 students from Zurich University of Applied Sciences visited the Guangzhou Branch of SGS, China, to get to know their management and organisational structures.
On the morning of March 15th, 2007, a study tour from Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland visited the Guangzhou Branch of SGS The group comprising 2 professors and 32 students, aimed to visit well-known multinational corporations within the territory of China, such as SGS, to get to know their management, organisational structures and operation situations etc

SGS, the certification and testing company, discusses the IECEE's working group tasked with identifying procedures for the product testing and evaluation of Hazardous Substances.
During the visit, the staff made a general introduction of SGS as well as its development in China, and allowed the group to visit various product test laboratories.
During the visits the students showed strong interest in product test methods and instruments considering it a great opportunity to be able to visit an authoritative testing organisation like SGS and have access to relevant testing domains.
