SGS Institut Fresenius and the Advanced Mask Technology Centre have entered a partnership to provide outsourcing of analytical quality assurance for the semiconductor industry.
SGS Institut Fresenius has extended its laboratory analysis portfolio.
By taking on the outsourcing of analytical quality assurance for the Advanced Mask Technology Centre (AMTC), SGS Institut Fresenius (SGS IF) is growing as an independent laboratory service provider.
On 1st February 2007 both partners started a laboratory model, directed by SGS IF.
AMTC will focus on development and production questions regarding the impurity of process media and ultra-trace contamination controls, which are resolvable at the new clean room lab.
The applications are available for semiconductor industry partners, their suppliers and concerned branches such as thin film technology.
SGS IF runs on-site laboratories for local chip manufacturers in Dresden and, with more than 80 employees, is the biggest outsourcing partner for laboratory services in the European semiconductor industry.
The location in Dresden is the most innovative service laboratory of its type for the semiconductor industry and technology related branches.
The analytical profile focused on performance and the experience in efficient management of laboratory activities makes SGS IF the premier partner for the professional operation of laboratories.
