Marking its 20th anniversary, Summitglow heat treatment specialists has commissioned a high pressure quench vacuum furnace for heat treating small tool steel batch quantities.

This custom designed unit allows us to very rapidly treat small batch quantities of tool steel, high speed steel and many other speciality applications in particular medical components.
The furnace is loaded vertically to enable us to more easily treat components where straightness is of paramount importance.
The unit is a PC based system, allowing to us track very accurately the process and to produce graphs and charts of the entire treatment or highlight key stages during the treatment.
