Fire resistant coatings made available
Extensively used in Europe, an intumescent range of coatings that are solvent based and have a fire resistance on suitable primers on steel substrates, is now available in the UK.
Sigma Coatings UK is pleased to introduce the new Sigma Firebarr Series, intumescent range The technology used in the Firebarr Series has been extensively used in Europe, and is the market leader in Belgium and France, protecting a wide range of large structures from buildings at Euro Disney to the Airbus factory
Sigma Coatings UK is pleased to be able to introduce this new product to the UK range, with Sigma Firebarr 100 Interior and Sigma Firebarr 100 Exterior available.
Both are solvent based with a fire resistance on suitable primers on steel substrates of 30-120 minutes.
(Suitable primers are available from the existing Sigma Coatings Range) Sigma Firebarr 100 Series can be overcoated with 7355 Sigma Topacryl, a single pack, fast drying acrylic finish, available world wide through our colornet system - any colour, making Sigma the natural choice for international project work.
