A new deburring machine from US metalworking equipment manufacture McKechnie International of Florida, is now available through its sole agent in the UK, Shear-Form Machine Tools, the Coventry based sheet metal and plate working machinery supplier The D-Bur-r 131-E has been designed for use on most materials including mild steel, aluminium, brass, galvanised steel, perforated steels and stainless steel, making it ideal for use by manufacturers of food service equipment, washing machines and other 'white goods'

It not only removes the burrs from sheet metal, it smooths the sheared edges of shaker parts at speeds up to 20m per minute in one pass.

This machine deburrs the top edge, the face and the bottom edge of sheared sheets during the one pass.

It enables this unique machine to reduce labour costs by as much as 90%.

It is simple to operate and when used to deburr the straight outside edges of stainless steel, a difficult material to deburr by hand filing, the resultant appearance of the edges with two consistently sized chamfers is far better than any filed edge.

This machine is able to handle material ranging.5mm up to 6.5mm thick in lengths ranging from 100mm to 1.5m or more and widths from 12mm to 1.2m or more The machine is compact in size being 1,370mm high and 1,120mm wide with a depth of 865mm.
