Coil feeder NC system eliminates feeding loop
An exciting concept in flexible, NC, high speed coil feeding eliminates the need for any feeding loop from the coil so that the feeding line is only 4m long.
The multiple fastener software provides a fully programmable operating system, which allows the storage of numerous job and configuration programs, whilst colour coded fastener storage bins are supplied to aid the operator.
A 4-station Turret tool is supplied as part of the system.
This package is part of Haeger's continuous development of the 824 WindowTouch insertion press, which has a force range adjustable up to 72KN with a 610mm throat and an adjustable stroke length from 0 - 203mm.
Repeat operation accuracy is +/- 0.5% of the set force.
Haeger's InsertionLogicT software with onboard program storage, whose parameters allow fastener type/size, force, up travel, dwell, batch counts and tooling part numbers.
Using colour pictorial aids on the PC based touch screen, the operator has easy control and set up of all his production requirements.
The operator's screen has a 640 x 480 resolution and uses a CeleronT powered Windows operating system and has 32Mb ram, ethernet, FDD, mouse, keyboard and serial ports.
For health and safety, Haeger's in built patented safety system requires no set-up or adjustment by the operator at any time, whilst the Tooling Protection System significantly decreases the risk of damage to tooling and component parts during the fastener insertion operation.
