A low cost power press tool transfer trolley makes it very simple to remove press tooling and lock it onto the ball table so that there is no chance of the tooling moving during transfer.

A low cost power press tool transfer trolley from Dimeco Alipresse, that makes it very simple to remove press tooling by being easy to operate is available from Shear-Form Machine Tools, the Coventry based sheet metal and plate working machinery supplier and their sole representative in the United Kingdom It locks the tooling onto the ball table so that there is no chance of the tooling moving during transfer operations

Designed with sheet metal fabricators in mind, it has a working area of 500mm x 660mm with a load capacity up to 1 tonne.

It is height adjustable to 1.35m, so that it can be used with any make of power press.

It is so simple to use that, all the operator has to do is pull the tooling from the press onto the ball table, then lock the tooling so that it cannot move using the one pump action handle, he then unlocks the trolley wheels and takes the tooling to wherever it is required.

Clive Meir, Director, Shear-Form Machines Tools said: "This is such a simple piece of equipment that it will make life for the press operator so much easier.

The ball table has two main functions firstly ease of transfer of the tooling and secondly the ability to lock the tooling through the design of the balls, both two critical safety features.

One sheet metal fabricator saw one in Dimeco's factory being used and ordered two there and then.

It is probably the lowest cost trolley available on the market." 1 1.
