Low cost, easy to install coil loading cars have been designed for easy retrofitting to most de-coilers found in coil processing lines.

A series of new, low cost, easy to install coil loading cars from the Rotobloc-PSP division of the Dimeco Groupe is available from Shear-Form Machine Tools, Coventry, the sole UK representative for the French coil processing equipment manufacturer These new coil cars CCM.3 (maximum load 3,000kg), 4 and 5 (maximum load 4,500kg) have been designed for easy retrofitting to most de-coilers found in coil processing lines and require only a minimum amount of floor space

They are very economical to use as they only require an air supply line to operate the lifting carriage to load coils with a maximum diameter of 1500mm and maximum width of 1500mm.

For narrow coils, four holding pins can be supplied as an option.

A small electric motor fitted to the end of the rails is used to move the carriage in and out.

They do not require any hydraulic link to the decoiler They operate on a set of two-rails, which are designed to fit under the feet of the decoiler.

The rails are bolted to the floor thereby reducing any tilting and de-railing to an absolute minimum.

All models have a very low height at bottom dead centre (BDP) of 315mm and the maximum lifting height is 500mm for loading and unloading of coils.
