Sheet metal coil processing system technology company, Soprem Automation, has appointed Shear-Form Machine Tools as sole UK representative.

Sheet metal coil processing system technology company, Soprem Automation of Switzerland has appointed Shear-Form Machine Tools, Coventry as the sole UK representative.

Soprem design and manufacture precision press shop (press room) equipment, including the following.

* Strip feeding into high speed stamping presses.

* Rollformers.

* Surface treating installations.

* Heat treatment systems.

* Automatic assembling machines.

* Wire feeding of high speed spring making machines.

* Bending machines.

* Surface treating installations.

* Heat treatment systems.

* Wire shaping machines.

* Other wire and strip working installations, including strip end welding machines.

Soprem also manufactures systems for automatic decoiling and rewinding of synthetic products as profiles, tubes, strings as well as for other extruded materials.

Soprem is an international company founded in 1961 and now has a worldwide representation.

In 2002, the company moved into new facilities in Grenchen, Switzerland, where all their equipment is built and tested.
