A strip straightener mounted on a pallet decoiler is designed for use with a wide variety of strip materials including steels, plastics and carbon materials in high speed precision stamping.

The strip straightener has 19 x 16mm diameter hardened straightening rolls mounted in needle bearings with both the top and bottom rolls driven by two separate geared motors.
It is able to straighten up to 160mm wide strip in thicknesses ranging from 0.2 - 2.0mm at adjustable speeds from 1 - 30m/min.
The The feed length is 400mm and operating at 80 strokes/min.
Loop control using an ultrasonic sensor on the top and a contact plate on the bottom ensures that the strip is fed into the straightener at the correct speed The coil stands on a pallet decoiler comprises a 1600mm diameter table and is able to rotate at speeds from 2 - 26 rev/min.
The maximum coil weight that can be decoiled is 2,500kg with an outer diameter up to 1500mm and the maximum loading height is 600mm.
The height of the stainless steel 250mm diameter rear deflection roll can be manually adjusted and the STW loop control turns the strip from vertical to horizontal monitored by an ultrasonic sensor, which also control the feed speed.
A stand alone Soprem control system controls the strip directions flow and speed in both manual and automatic modes.
