Explains a Control Techniques spokesman: "The AZM170 switches are wired into the test jigs.
After input from the operator, the switches automatically lock and isolate the jigs before the test procedures are initiated." He adds: "The Schmersal AZM170 switches were specified because they offered a combination of small physical size - the smallest we could find - and the ability to mount onto jigs that test product as small as 0.25kW." Schmersal safety equipment is also used on other equipment in the company.
