Steel enclosures offer 'double safety'

Spacial ATEX-approved steel enclosures offer a "double safety" for electrical installations in industries such as chemicals, refining and food processing.
With its new range of Spacial 3D.ATEX steel enclosures, SAREL now integrates in its offer a range of "double safety" enclosures conforming to the new ATEX European directive No 94/9/EC, applicable overall from 1 July 2003

Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosures carry double marking: new approach Ex II 2 G/D and additional marking EEX e II.
They are for use in installations for surface industries Group II, Zones 1, 21, 2 and 22.
Guaranteed "double safety" component - the Spacial 3D.ATEX steel enclosure is produced from a single, cross-folded steel sheet and has external mechanical impact resistance IK 10.
IP 66 degree of protection is assured by a polyurethane door seal, double thickness gutter shape front body profile and 3 door closure points.
External earthing is by crimped blind nut.
Four welded backstuds facilitate mounting of plain, silkscreened, microperforated, Telequick perforated or mixed chassis.
Four crimped blind nuts are provided for installation of wall fixing brackets from the exterior.
Range of 10 enclosure sizes to suit all uses The range of empty Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosures comprises 10 references, from 300x200x150 mm to 1000x800x300 mm.
