Automation firm adds materials handling
division
Manufacturer of electrical drives and automation controls, Siemens Automation and Drives, has set up a materials handling division intended for logistics, airports and reclamation/recycling sectors.

Siemens Automation and Drives is extending its family of Opto-BERO 3RG7 proximity switches to include a new optical sensor, which has been specifically designed for the mechanical handling market.
