Working days lost due to injuries caused by slips, trips and falls cost employers GBP300 million a year.
The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR), in force from 30th June 2003, require work areas where there is a risk of an explosive atmosphere to be clearly marked at each point of entry by an explosive atmosphere safety sign.
