Sigpack Systems is bringing a compact packaging machine to the market this year, which will soon be packing Sweden's best-loved pastries.
Such minimisation of risk, together with increasing price pressure along the whole supply chain and continuing globalisation trends, have been the key drivers for Sigpack Systems to develop a new platform for compact, mid-speed flow wrapping packaging systems.
After an international market survey, Sigpack Systems defined the specification guidelines for its new Horizontal Compact Machine (HCM) and system platform for food and non-food applications.
As part of the new concept, the new machine platform has been introduced as a compact packaging system for Delicato of Sweden, the largest manufacturer of pastries in Scandinavia.
In combination with a new feeding belt, product distribution and a new top-loading platform for secondary packaging to pack the famous Delicato products, the 'Punchrulle'.
The packaging platform is supported by the system approach of Sigpack Systems' packaging lines.
Equipped with a common control for feeding and product handling, flow wrapping and secondary packaging, the system has a uniform look and feel throughout all system components and touch screens.
