A range of platinum-cured silicone tubing has been developed to offer a cost-effective solution to eliminating the risk of contaminating fluid and liquids passing through dispensing machines.

Silicone Fabrication Services has extended its range of platinum-cured silicone tubing developed to offer a cost-effective solution to eliminating the risk of contaminating fluid and liquid products passing through factory plant, equipment or dispensing machines Claimed to have maintained the highest grade rating without prevailing premium level pricing, it is available in both reinforced and non-reinforced versions for both plant and OEM use across industry, but with special benefits in sectors where product purity and process quality are critical such as food, drink and pharmaceuticals

Size range of the reinforced tube is 6 to 25mm bore, using polyester braiding that may be varied to give increased pressure ratings.

Non-reinforced tubing comes in 1 to 50mm bore, with any required wall thickness, and is also suitable for peristaltic pump use.

The tubing can be supplied in ready-made standard or hygienic hose assemblies with any type of fittings needed.

FDA and WRC approved, it offers long life span under repeated sterilising, plus higher clarity than standard silicone for better visibility of flowing product.

Because all catalyst is removed in curing, platinum-cured tubing eliminates the leaching risk resulting from the residual trace of the peroxide used to cure standard silicone remaining even after processing.

EC directives require drinks machines to use pt-cured silicone.
