An informative new brochure outlines the extensive range of specialist machine tool finance services offered by 600 Finance.
600 Group is the largest UK manufacturer of machine tools and ancillaries and is unusual in numbering a bearing manufacturer amongst its companies.
Based in Leeds, it maintains manufacturing plants in Heckmondwike and Halifax, both in West Yorkshire, Colchester (Essex) and Letchworth (Herts).
All plants have benefited from recent capital investment, but perhaps none more so than the lathes plant in Heckmondwike, which has had a complete revision of the manufacturing and management systems.

UK machine tool builder expands presence at MACH
As the world's largest UK-based machine tool manufacturer, 600 Group will exhibit a wide range of new products and services from the largest combined stand at the forthcoming MACH 2002 show.
More capacity, higher power given for lower price
The mid-range Tornado 220, from Colchester is 20% lower in price than the Tornado 210 version, is some 50 per cent heavier and provides a 25 per cent improvement in its damping characteristics.
Gone are the conveyors and the line processing.
A substantial investment in new manufacturing processes and machines has enabled individual machines to be built in-situ, with machine builders working to the machine not the other way round.
Machines are built to order, very much in the way cars are manufactured, with the individual specification to the customer's requirement.
Accompanying the changes in the manufacturing process is a change in the management structure.
Organised to undertake much more engineering support, a management structure has been created so that applications, design, sales and manufacturing engineers work together on each customer project as required.
However, there is little point in making internal changes if there is no apparent customer benefit.
In addition to provide turnkey applications engineering, at MACH the Group will be launching a selection of the new technology which has resulted from these changes.
The new Colchester and Harrison lathes will be launched at the show, as will the latest Pratt Burnerd programmable power chuck and the new Electrox CO2 and fibre laser markers.
The new autoloader and the six-axis Tornado with a Y-axis cross feed from Colchester Lathes will be demonstrated.
The new T S Harrison Alpha X Series of advanced manual/CNC lathes, including the innovative 3-axis Alpha 1550XM (the first Alpha ever produced with full C-axis and milling capability) will also be demonstrated.
All Group manufacturing companies - Colchester Lathes, Crawford Collets, Electrox, Gamet Bearings, Pratt Burnerd International, T S Harrison - will have a presence on the MACH stand.
In addition, 600 Centre, the Group's UK distributor, will be showing a selection from its comprehensive range of machine tools.
