A Slater Tools product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jan 30, 2007

A range of standard six-lobe or hexalobular broaches has been expanded; they are often used for cutting recessed six lobe drive for various fasteners.

Slater Tools manufactures and delivers Rotary Broaching tools used to create polygon and irregular forms in the turning industry.

Standard rotary broaches cut hexagon and square holes in metal parts.

Recently, Slater has expanded its range of standard Six-Lobe or hexalobular broaches, often used for cutting the recessed six lobe drive for various fasteners and hexalobular socket head cap screws.

New T-10, T-15 and T-20 sizes available in the online catalog as standard items can be used in the company's standard Swiss Type Rotary Broaching Tool Holders, or the new quick change type adjustment free Rotary Broaching Tool Holders.

Demand for the new tools has been driven by the success of the new adjustment free tool holders, and the increased use of the hexalobular six-lobe form used in medical and aerospace fasteners.

Slater Tool's rotary broaching and screw machine tools operate throughout the world on CNC, swiss, mill, and screw machines.

The design of our swiss and standard broach holders and machine attachments have helped thousands of precision metalworking customers become more competitive.

Multiple industries including plumbing, medical and aerospace rely on Slater Tools precision products.
