Shell acquires Italian metal working
lubricants
Shell has acquired Italian specialist metal working lubricant company, Sinol, to expand the number of products and lubricant related services they provide to European metal working companies.
Shell has recently completed the acquisition of the Italian specialist metal working lubricant company, Sinol, to expand the number of products and lubricant related services they provide to metal working companies across Europe Sinol, with two other specialist metal working lubricant companies, Shell Macron in Germany and JP Industries in France, has formed Shell Metalworking Europe, a specialist organisation within Shell established to meet the specific requirements of metal working companies on a Pan-European basis

Sinol, the market leading supplier of metal working lubricants in Italy, supply a range of products including metal working water-soluble and neat oils, release agents/lubricants for metal hot-forging, cold die forming fluids (wire and sheet) and antirust inhibitors, detergents and technical fluids for various applications.
Sinol, established in 1973, employs over 50 employees and has an annual turnover of approximately EUR22 million.
