SSAB and Uddeholm publish steel tooling guide

SSAB Swedish Steel and Uddeholm Tooling have released a guide entitled 'Tooling Solutions for Advanced High-strength Steel'.
It contains advice on the tool steel which should be selected for forming and cutting advanced high-strength steel, and is being presented at the EuroBlech international trade fair in Hanover, Germany.
Par Emanuelsson, business area manager, cold work at Uddeholm Tooling, says: 'The need for higher hardness and ductility in the tool steel becomes obvious, since the use of advanced high-strength steel may require higher force to cut and form sheet steel'.
