Salvagnini sets up new Japanese base
Italian integrated automatic sheet metal working machine builder, Salvagnini, has inaugurated its Japanese base at Izumi (Osaka) to provide a modern location for sales and service.
Italian integrated automatic sheet metal working machine builder, Salvagnini, has inaugurated its Japanese base at Izumi (Osaka) to provide a modern location for sales and service.
At Izumi (Osaka) Salvagnini inaugurates its new Japanese base: a meeting point between two cultures Salvagnini has had a direct presence in Japan for the last 15 years, selling, installing and servicing almost 100 systems.
It has now created a new base at Izumi: a direct presence which confirms the company as one of the very few Italian names with an important role in the Japanese machine tools market.
The choice of location is particularly significant, both for the position of the city of Izumi, strategically near to Kansai airport, and for the cultural and technological development that this area will enjoy in the immediate future (such as the building of the new Institute of Technology at Izumi in 2006).
With 660m2 of covered floor space, on 2000m2 of land, Salvagnini's new facility provides a modern, well-equipped base for sales and customer service.
The main objective of this investment is to offer Salvagnini's Japanese customers even better service on all fronts, from working demonstrations on the latest machinery and prototyping of customers' sheet metal parts to open-houses and first-rate management of commercial contacts and customer services.
Indeed, the new base houses not only technologically advanced offices but also a showroom which will initially feature a P4 automatic Panel Bender to allow new customers to experience at first hand the automation and flexibility for which Salvagnini's technology is famous worldwide.
