The Priory Benchmark has a unique extending arm which carries the single marking pin.
This feature provides easy access for loading and unloading of parts, and also helps simplify setting-up by the user.
The package includes a rubber keyboard controller for plug-and-play design, providing advanced programming based upon proven technology, but without the need for a separate computer.
The unit is electro-mechanically operated (110 to 240V AC supply), which obviates the need for compressed-air, with a marking speed of up to four characters/sec.
The maximum marking area is 100 x 150mm (4 x 6in), with maximum character height being 100mm, produced at a resolution of 0.7-75 dots/cm (5-200 dpi) with an adjustable marking force.
Three character fonts are available and serial numbers, dates and shift codes can be inserted automatically when required, with straight line, angular and circular marking facilities also available to accommodate the creation of company logos or other specialised marking requirements using optional software.
Other options which provide increased flexibility include footswitch or pushbutton control, Theta axis rotational chuck, barcode scanner assembly and back-up utility software.
