Sodi-Tech EDM has appointed Ian Cross as area sales engineer, with responsibility for Sodick machine sales and the support of customers in the East and South East of England.
Sodi-Tech EDM has appointed Ian Cross, 32, to the position of area sales engineer, with responsibility for new and used Sodick machine sales and the support of existing customers in the East and South East of England.
Cross, who has 16 years practical engineering experience, the last five of which were spent as a hands-on Sodick wire EDM-using production engineer, was looking for a new challenge.
The opportunity to join the team in the Midlands, when he already knew the high quality of the Sodick EDM products and the friendliness of the Sodi-Tech staff, was too good to miss.
Cross is continuing his studies towards an HND in Manufacturing at Henley College, Coventry, and in his spare time is also a keen golfer.
