A German manufacturer of ballscrew and nut assemblies, August Steinmeyer, has appointed George Partington as UK sales manager in what it regards as an important market.

The company's standard program of miniature ballscrews has diameters of between 3 and 16mm.
Working closely with its customers, Steinmeyer specialises in providing tailored ballscrew solutions for a wide range of applications.
For instance, screw journals for standardised nuts from 16 to 100mm are always machined using customers' drawings.
Steinmeyer's unique nut design allows the company to meet almost all outside dimension requirements.
But nuts can also be tailor made to satisfy any special needs.
