Sierra redevelops Smart-Trak 100

Sierra Instruments has introduced the Smart-Trak 2, a re-design of its Series 100 digital mass flowmeters and controllers; and the Compod, a Smart-Trak 2 add-on that expands networking.

The Smart-Trak 2 has many new features that provide greater control, independence and flexibility.

For example, its enhanced linear performance provides accuracy and flexibility in multiple gases.

With Dial-A-Gas technology, users select from up to ten pre-programmed gases or substitute their own.

Smart-Trak 2 also gives users the ability to independently adjust calibration for these 10 gases.

Unique Pilot Module (mounted or hand-held) lets users view and change critical-control functions in the field.

Smart-Trak 2 also has frictionless-hovering direct-acting control-valve technology.

When the Compod is coupled with Sierra's Smart-Trak Model100 mass flow meters or controllers, it simplifies basic flow-control installations and permits networking of multiple instruments using open-source Modbus RTU protocol.

The Compod also lets users take complete control of gas mixing and blending, batch control, leak testing and process monitoring.

The Sierra Compod is ideal for OEM, industry or research applications.
