Joint Venture Agreement with CTI Sees US Market Gain as a result of Better Maintenance Processes

SoftSols Group, a leading provider of maintenance management software solutions, announces a joint venture agreement with Compliance Technologies (CTI) to market its Agility product in North America.

Trading as SoftSols North America Inc, the joint venture will sell and support SoftSols Group's next-generation maintenance management product.

With the cost of maintenance being as much as 40% of annual operating costs, US organizations are looking to drive costs down, while increasing the value of their assets.

Agility reduces cost and minimises risk by automating maintenance management processes, providing organizations with better visibility of work schedules, stock, labour availability and fault reporting.

Agility is a web-based computerised maintenance management solution (CMMS) that can be securely accessed by any PC, laptop or Pocket PC device regardless of location.

Busy engineers and managers no longer need to return to the office to get their work schedules or updates, as critical data can be accessed in real-time via the Internet / Intranet.

Agility is easy to use and can be completely personalised to meet the needs of the individual, so that each person gets just the right amount of functionality, without having to pay for additional features that aren't needed.

Roger Evans, President ofCTI comments: "Our customers are demanding a web-based maintenance system for easier deployment and improved productivity".

"With compliance being a core issue, Agility is slick and flexible to meet market demand, helping organizations to streamline their operations and improve governance through well documented maintenance processes." David Hipkin, Managing director of SoftSols Group explains: "We have a great synergy with CTI and depend on its expertise to market our maintenance management products in North America".

"In view of the US market demand for our next-generation maintenance management product, we wanted to formalise our partnership with CTI through a joint trade agreement that will help us to seize the market opportunity.".
