Spelsberg UK has introduced a series of quick fit Din-rails and Bus bar, fast acting miniature circuit breakers, colour coded clip-on terminals for rail mounting and a selection of cable entry devices

Spelsberg UK - suppliers of the widest range of ex-stock plastic enclosures in the UK - has introduced a series of accessories to support their range of junction boxes, distribution systems and enclosures.

The new equipment includes quick fit Din-rails and Bus bar, fast acting miniature circuit breakers, colour coded clip-on terminals for rail mounting and a wide selection of cable entry devices from simple push-in protection up to fully clamping IP68 cable glands.

The new range of complimentary equipment has been introduced to satisfy the demands of existing customers who are looking to consolidate their supplier base and already rely on Spelsberg for the supply of quality enclosures.

Components and accessories can be supplied ready fitted to enclosures or as separate items.

Pre-cut lengths of bus bar and Din rail are supplied in the Spelsberg's AKII range of enclosures.

Designed specifically for housing circuit breakers and rail-mounted switchgear, the AKII design ensures that fitting and wiring a unit is as fast and trouble free as possible.

The internal dimensions of the AKII mini enclosure are precision modelled to allow the pre-cut lengths of din rail or bus bar to be snapped into place, removing the need for any cutting, fitting or screw fixing.

The operation to fit MCB's and RCB's takes seconds.

For fitting switches and other devices such as monitoring equipment, Spelsberg are offering a complete range of general use mounting plates, ideal for use with high protection housing enclosures such as the TK range.

New fast acting Miniature Circuit Breakers ( MCB's ) and Residual Current Breakers ( RCB's ) have been included in the accessories range.

The modules offer personal protection from indirect contact and conditional protection in the event of direct contact with live components.

The thermal tripping device used in the units is a sensitive bimetal snap disc integrated into a magnetic trigger.

It can detect a short circuit or overload and break the failing circuit in less than 0.1 seconds.

Additional equipment includes a range of cable entry devices such as flexible double-membrane, push in seals for Pg and metric fittings, and fully clamping cable glands with sealing up to IP 68.

Also available is the RKL range of rail mounted terminals for use with junction boxes such the A-Box range, these are colour coded and will accept conductors from 0.2mm2 to 50mm2 with a large jaw for easy cable entry.

All equipment is available ex-stock direct from Spelsberg UK.
