Dustless sack emptier designed for small batches

A Spiroflow product story

A dustless sack emptier is designed for users who manually empty a relatively small amount of sacks as part of a production process.

Spiroflow manufactures a dustless sack emptier designed for users who manually empty a relatively small amount of sacks as part of a production process.

Sacks are emptied into the sack tip cabinet fitted with integral dust extraction or a connection to an existing extraction point.

The contents then fall into a Spiroflow flexible screw conveyor, the size of which is determined by the required flow rate.

Disposal of empty sacks can also be handled by using an integral sack compactor to compress the sack into a holding receptacle for later removal.

Delivery of material at the outlet of the conveyor is maintained at a continuous and consistent rate with minimum pulsation or fluctuation.

This enables much more accurate weighing to be achieved when batching a number of materials for mixing.

The inherent simplicity of the system enables handling needs to be met at low cost but with high reliability.

A 'cleaning-in-place' facility, supplemented by quick?release clamps to simplify stripping down, is particularly useful for avoiding cross contamination when handling small batches.
