More compact signal isolators in
existing cabinets

The SEM1000 series of loop powered DIN rail analogue signal isolators from Status Instruments are claimed to provide cost and space effectiveness.

The SEM1000 series of loop powered DIN rail analogue signal isolators from Status Instruments are claimed to provide cost and space effectiveness, making them suitable for OEM and retrofit applications The compact nature of the devices means that many more units can be installed in existing cabinets, whilst their high accuracy permits the addition of isolation to systems without significantly degrading the overall system performance

If necessary the span and zero potentiometers can be used to remove any system errors, said Status.

The SEM 1010 isolator is typically used to provide isolation between a field mounted, two wire 4-20mA transmitter and a PLC type device with a common power supply.

The required supply for the two wire transmitter is obtained from the power supply connected to the output terminals of the 1010 and total isolation is maintained between those and the transmitter.

The SEM 1200 signal splitter is a low cost isolator that provides two isolated 4-20 mA outputs from a single 4-20 mA input, added the company. Request a free brochure from Status Instruments ...
