New dimension for Pronova-Joker bag filling
Supreme Plastics, a division of ITW , is introducing a new dimension to its Pronova-Joker bag filling and sealing equipment at the PPMA exhibition, NEC - 26-28 September 2006.
Bag filling and sealing machines are versatile
Versatile bag filling and sealing machines work with a continuous chain of pre-formed bags, which are specially designed in a variety of styles to work with the equipment.
The equipment can now produce packaging with full hermetic sealing, stand-up style pouches and wet-wipe packaging.
Other new options for producing pouches include laminate materials and films with barrier properties that improve shelf life and minimise refrigerated transport.
The unique Pronova bag designs, which are specially tailored to work with the system, are manufactured by Supreme Plastics, the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of the equipment.
The Pronova system provides a complete low cost alternative to form-fill-seal equipment enabling continuous horizontal or vertical filling, manually or using automation.
It packs quickly and efficiently, reducing reliance on manual labour for packing products of almost any shape or size.
The system works with a continuous chain of pre-formed bags which feature channels that allow the bags to run along two fixed guide rods, supporting and opening each bag at the point of filling.
It integrates easily with other packing line equipment and requires minimal maintenance.
The group will also demonstrate the Reseal series of zipper applicators for production of resealable, flexible packaging on vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal equipment.
These designs work with the company's innovative narrow zipper technology, which gives speed and reliability of application, reduced material costs and enhanced sealing, compared with using standard zippers on regular in-line equipment.
