Another successful training course conducted at PDA's facilities in Dunoon, under the close eye of David Keats and new senior instructor Donald Gabel sees another group of divers successfully meet National welding standards.

David Keats, author of the UK's first national training course in wet welding, endorsed by MandETA, has worked for many years to bring about improved welding standards and training methods.

As members of AWFTE (Association for Welding and Fabrication Training and Education) David says "it's taken many years but we now see standards for wet welding that only a few years ago would not have been possible, but what's more important is divers recognise the benefits to have good welding skills; welding skills mean work".
