Electronics assembly excellence rewarded
The Electronics Assembly Systems Division (EA) of Siemens Automation and Drives has won second place in the competition for the 'Best Factory/Industrial Excellence Award 2006'.

"With the global deployment of productivity-increasing methodologies and a shared knowledge base, we can increase our productivity by at least ten percent each year," confirms Gunter Schindler and Jorg Cwojdzinski, who are in charge of production and logistics.
"We constantly focus on all the factors, be it customer satisfaction, quality or short delivery times.
Only if we fine-tune all these factors in their entirety will we be able to remain globally competitive with our Siplace placement machines."
