OEMs and subcontractors that turn-mill complex parts up to 32mm diameter and would like to produce them cost-effectively in one hit are invited to attend a technical awareness day.
OEMs and subcontractors that turn-mill complex parts up to 32mm diameter and would like to produce them cost-effectively in one hit are invited to attend a technical awareness day, to be held jointly by multi-axis sliding-headstock lathe company, Star GB, and tooling specialists, Sandvik Coromant UK There is a choice of two seminars, which will be held on 21st and 22nd September 2004 from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm at the Sandvik Coromant Productivity Centre, Manor Way, Halesowen, B62 8QZ
Visitors are invited to bring with them component drawings for evaluation by Star and Sandvik engineers.
Even those currently using fixed-head lathes may well find that sliding-headstock technology can deliver a more cost-effective solution.
