New Area Sales Manager for Star
Gregg Williams has been appointed Area Sales Manager for the south of England by sliding-headstock lathe company, Star GB.
Gregg Williams has been appointed Area Sales Manager for the south of England by sliding-headstock lathe company, Star GB He takes over from Ted Hart, who is retiring
Ted has been selling Star sliding-headstock lathes since 1983 when the agency was with Brown and Sharpe in Plymouth.
He continued to sell the Japanese-built machines when A and S Precision (now Star GB) acquired the agency in 1991.
It is estimated that Ted is responsible for in excess of 250 Star machine sales, a large majority with FMB bar magazines.
Gregg is a worthy successor, bringing with him over 20 years of machine tool sales experience in the metalcutting sector, including directly relevant knowledge of sliding-headstock lathes.
His base is in Bishop's Stortford.
