Sliding headstock CNC lathe supplier, Star Micronics GB, has appointed Mick Webster - who has wealth of machine tool experience - as area sales manager for the East and South East of England.
Sliding headstock CNC lathe supplier, Star Micronics GB, has appointed Mick Webster - who has wealth of machine tool experience - as area sales manager for the East and South East of England.
Mick Webster has been appointed by sliding-headstock lathe company, Star Micronics GB, as area sales manager for the East and South East of England, with effect from 1st March 2006.
He brings with him a wealth of experience in the machine tool industry, gained over more than 29 years, and is very well known in the business.
There is a significant installed base of Star machines in his area.
So in addition to developing new contacts, he will be visiting existing users to underline his additional roles outside of sales.
These include first-line contact for applications engineering and service, and arranging demonstrations at the company's technical centre in Melbourne, Derbyshire.
Other products sold by Star GB for which Webster will be responsible are the German-built range of short and full length bar magazines from FMB, and JBS compensating guide bush systems, also from Germany.
