UK-based supplier of Japanese-built Star sliding-head lathes and bar magazines from FMB, Germany has appointed Gary Clarke as area sales manager for S and SW England.
Gary Clarke has been appointed area sales manager for the South and South West of England by Star GB, the Melbourne, UK-based supplier of Japanese-built Star sliding-head lathes and bar magazines from FMB, Germany.
Clarke started his career in manufacturing, where he benefited from extensive experience in metalcutting as well as gaining an appreciation of the issues surrounding the use of machine tools from the customer's viewpoint.
He then developed his sales skills at a leading provider of cutting tools before joining Star GB, where he is looking forward to using his production engineering knowledge to add technical value to the sales process.
