Programmable trip amplifier shows process variable
A programmable three-point trip amplifier that displays the monitored variable is suitable for many applications including detection of high/low alarm conditions and duty-standby pump control.
Stroud Instruments have introduced a programmable three-point trip amplifier which also displays the monitored variable.
This versatile instrument is suitable for many applications including detection of high/low alarm conditions and duty-standby pump control.
The B12-TT Indicating Trip Amplifier has powerful yet simple to use menu-driven software enabling fast set-up from the front panel.
The wide range of programmable functions available include input source, input scaling, trip points, delay function, hysteresis, alarm type, relay action and interlocked action.
The four-digit LED digital readout may be programmed to display the monitored process signal either as the voltage or mA value or in engineering units.
Both zero and full scale display in engineering units are adjustable in the range -999 to +9999.
Tri-colour LEDs provide continuous indication of the status of each channel.
These states are; non alarmed state, input signal is within the hysteresis or delay band and approaching trip point, in alarm state, input signal has passed trip point and is within the hysteresis or delay band and programming mode.
The B12-TT Indicating Trip Amplifier is a rear of panel instrument which may be surface or DIN rail mounted.
Most standard process milliamp and voltage signals are accepted.
Universal mains power is provided as standard with the instrument able to operate from a supply in the range 85-265V AC.
Optional 12VDC and 24V DC powered versions are also available.
