A major re-structuring of StarragHeckert UK by managing director Paul Maynard combines the customer support operation under newly appointed general manager Nigel McLean.

A major re-structuring of StarragHeckert UK based in Brackley by managing director Paul Maynard combines the customer support operation of the business under newly appointed general manager Nigel McLean The new structure will give Nigel McLean responsibility for service, spares and application engineering which is an ever-increasing requirement for the type of multi-axis milling and turning projects StarragHeckert UK undertake

Nigel was previously operations manager and has extensive experience in the machine tool industry with responsibilities for customer support.

Kevin Buck now takes responsibility for IT which is added to his role as applications manager and a new position of technical manager has been created for Bill Hopper covering all aspects of spares, service and applications.

Meanwhile day to day management of service and spares is being controlled by Jim Bradley.

Technical director Heinz Strubel will continue to provide in-depth technical support across the business and in particular to sales director Brian Cook.
